1. About KC Cash Car Buyers

KC Cash Car Buyers is a locally owned junk car buying and removal service based in Kansas City, Kansas. We buy junk, wrecked, hail damaged, and non-running cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans for cash, and we include free towing and pickup with every purchase. We serve the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line and travel west along the I-70 and K-10 corridors through Lawrence to Topeka. We come to you; we do not operate a customer-facing physical lot or shop.

2. Services

Scope of Services

KC Cash Car Buyers provides vehicle purchase and removal services including, but not limited to:

• Cash purchases of junk, wrecked, hail damaged, and non-running vehicles
• Cash purchases of high-mileage, long-parked, and mechanically failed vehicles
• Purchases of cars, trucks, SUVs, minivans, cargo vans, and work vehicles, most makes and models
• Purchases of vehicles that are stripped, missing parts, or without keys
• Free towing and pickup included with every completed purchase
• Multi-vehicle and small fleet purchases by arrangement

Service Availability

Services are available from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Service availability in specific areas may vary based on truck availability and conditions, and response times to areas farther from the Kansas City metro may be longer — we provide an honest ETA at the time of scheduling. We reserve the right to decline service in areas outside our service zone, or in circumstances where a vehicle cannot be safely or lawfully purchased or removed.

Scheduling and Pickup

We make every reasonable effort to reach your location as promptly as possible and to honor pickup windows communicated at the time of scheduling. In the event of unforeseen circumstances — such as severe weather, winter storms, traffic incidents, road closures, or unusually high call volume — we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated arrival time.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Cash offers provided by KC Cash Car Buyers are estimates based on the information you provide, including the vehicle's year, make, model, condition, completeness, and location, together with current market value for parts and scrap. Offers remain estimates until the vehicle is physically inspected at pickup.

If the vehicle's condition differs materially from what was described — for example, if major components were already removed but not disclosed — we may revise the offer or decline the purchase. We will inform you of any change before completing the transaction, and you are under no obligation to proceed if a revised offer is unacceptable to you. As long as the vehicle matches your description, the number we quote is the number you receive.

4. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and lawful transaction, customers agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the vehicle (year, make, model, condition, and any missing or removed components)
• Provide an accurate pickup address and describe where the vehicle is situated — driveway, back yard, alley, street, or lot
• Disclose any access limitations, such as narrow alleys, soft ground, locked gates, or vehicles blocked in by other vehicles
• Ensure the vehicle is accessible and that our driver can safely approach and load it
• Be present at pickup, or arrange in advance with us if you cannot be
• Provide a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of pickup
• Provide the vehicle title, or other ownership documentation agreed with us in advance
• Remove all personal belongings and license plates from the vehicle before pickup
• Notify us promptly if you need to cancel or if conditions at your location change before our arrival

KC Cash Car Buyers is not responsible for delays, complications, or withdrawn offers arising from inaccurate vehicle, location, or ownership information provided by the customer.

5. Vehicle Purchases & Title Transfer

When you sell us a vehicle, the following terms apply:

• Seller representations: You represent and warrant that you are the legal owner of the vehicle (or are fully authorized by the owner to sell it), that the vehicle is free of undisclosed liens or encumbrances, and that you have the legal right to transfer ownership to us.
• Title and ID required: A valid government-issued photo ID and the vehicle title in your name are generally required to complete a purchase. If you do not have the title, contact us in advance so we can let you know whether alternative documentation is acceptable under Kansas law for your specific situation.
• Free towing: Free towing and pickup is included as part of the agreed purchase price and is conditional on the sale being completed at pickup. If the sale does not proceed for any reason — including failure to produce title or ID, or a materially misrepresented condition — a standard tow fee may apply if you still want the vehicle moved.
• As-is sale: All purchases are made on an "as-is, where-is" basis. Once payment is delivered and the vehicle is in our possession, the sale is final and ownership transfers to KC Cash Car Buyers. You waive any claims related to the vehicle's condition, mileage, or operability after transfer.
• Personal belongings: You are responsible for removing all personal belongings from the vehicle before pickup. KC Cash Car Buyers is not responsible for any items left in the vehicle after the sale is complete.
• License plates: Kansas license plates generally belong to the registered owner rather than the vehicle. You are responsible for removing your plates before pickup and for cancelling or transferring your registration and insurance as applicable.
• Title transfer obligations: KC Cash Car Buyers will handle the title transfer and disposal of the vehicle in compliance with Kansas state law. By selling the vehicle, you authorize us to complete any required filings with the Kansas Department of Revenue, Division of Vehicles, or other applicable state agencies.

6. Payment

Payment is made in cash to the seller at the time of vehicle pickup, after verification of ID, title (or agreed documentation), and vehicle condition. The agreed cash amount is paid in full at pickup; towing is never charged for or deducted from a completed purchase.

7. Vehicle Handling

We take reasonable care in loading, transporting, and removing vehicles we purchase. Because the vehicles we buy are typically junk, wrecked, or non-running, customers acknowledge that loading may require winching, dragging, or other recovery methods, and that additional cosmetic or structural damage may occur to the purchased vehicle during removal. Since ownership transfers to us at the time of payment, such damage does not affect the agreed purchase price.

Our drivers exercise reasonable care to avoid damage to surrounding property. Customers are responsible for disclosing conditions that could affect a safe removal — soft ground, sprinkler systems, low-hanging lines, overhanging limbs, tight gates, or fragile surfaces — so we can plan accordingly.

8. Limitation of Liability

KC Cash Car Buyers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided or the use of this website, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to property not directly caused by our negligence.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of a transaction shall not exceed the cash amount paid for the vehicle giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

9. Website Use

The content on this website — including text, images, graphics, service descriptions, the KC Cash Car Buyers logo, and all other materials — is the property of KC Cash Car Buyers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit any harmful or malicious content, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our website or systems.
